Before & After – A beautiful makeover of a screened-in porch

Here is another “Before and After” series of a dining room which I have found on the Design Sponge site. It is the transformation of an old screened-in porch into a beautiful dining room, where you share beautiful moments with your family and friends. I really like it and I wish we would have these screened-in porches in Munich too.

Sarah did a really fantastic job there and kept it simple by mixing modern with old design elements. I like the white chair and the vintage table and the contrast of the blue and white carpet to the rest of the room.

Before & After – A house at the seaside

I like the seaside and a dream would be to have a house at the seaside oneday.

On the Website of coastalliving.com I have found a beautiful “Before & After” transformation of a house at the seaside. The living room was held in the 60ies style before, with the old furniture and the dark wood. It did not really look cosy and beautiful in my opinion.

Afterwards, everything looks more bright and friendly. I like the beautiful oven in the middle of the room with the view to the seaside. I guess I would have chosen other chandeliers, like for example this one from Tobias Wong:

But anyway, well done and a lovely place to be!

Before & After

Before & After – Simply make your old kitchen look modern

As I already told you before, I discovered Hindsvik. On their blog I found a really great “Before&After” work of a Scandinavian kitchen. I must say that I really like the Scandinavian style and for my next apartment I feel inspired by all these beautiful designs. So here is the kitchen before:

The result afterwards is great!! The style is clean, modern and simple. They did plywood floors and used vintage Danish dining chairs for their table. They bought the ORM06 small lamp from Normann Copenhagen, which only costs 50 Euro. They furthermore bought a 1950´s fridge.

And they also bought something from Ikea, namely this rail shelve (which I really like!).
