Last saturday, when I went shopping in Munich, I met a guy called Friedrich. He is one out of the four founders of the Suisse based label Diego Barberi selling men’s underwear.
As this market is already full of people selling products I got curious and wanted to know what is so special about their products.
So here is the short interview:
B&T: How did you get the idea of selling men’s underwear?
Friedrich: During the après ski in St. Moritz we met Diego Barberi – a well known local top dog of St. Moritz. While having some beers the vision of founding an underwear label based on the sonorous name of Diego was created.
B&T: What is so special about your products?
Friedrich: We just produce them, as we like it: colorful, sporty and with a touch of glamor, sexy but subtle and elegant. Everything manufactured in very high Swiss quality but with a certain understatement. But as this is common for fashion, it is more important that: „YOU like them!“. B&T: Where can I buy your products?
Friedrich: You can buy the products in our online shop. We ship worldwide, for free.
B&T: What is your favourite product?
Friedrich: My favourite product is our upcoming new model. It is a black Diego Barberi made of finest Micromodal. It is not available at the moment, but will be in a few weeks.
B&T: What are your future plans?
Friedrich: We have so many ideas that we often do not know which one to realize next. There will be lots of interesting things coming up soon, so sign up for our newsletter if you want to stay up to date, or visit our Facebook page.
B&T: When will the next collection be launched?
Friedrich: The upcoming collection – as I mentioned before – will be a plain Dieog Barberi made of very comfortable Micromodal. It will be launched before Christmas. So watch out!
