I am not only adding a new category called fashion, I will also post music I like from time to time. Here is the starter, a song called “The Cult Of Romance” by Fenech-Soler.
As of today I will not only write about Marketing, but also about topics which I like or pop into my mind and are worth sharing with you. So here is a CHANEL fashion video I just saw, although the show was in 14th of May 2010. It reminds me of summer these rainy days and the scenery is beautiful.
The CHANEL Cruis 2010 took place in Venice, Italy in the Grand Hotel Excelsior Lido Resort. “I wanted to reinvent the mystique,” said Karl Lagerfeld about the show.
I personally like the design and the music. The soundtrack ist called “Something A La Mode” by Rondo Parisiano feat. Karl Lagerfeld and is also available here.
When talking about great CHANEL fashion shows at great locations…here is another one from Paris at the Grand Palais: “Haute Couture Fall Winter 2010/2011″. I really like the big lion in the middle of the catwalk, it is impressive. So enjoy the show…
In July 2009 Google announced the new realtime search function. When searching for something via the Google search bar, at the top of the search results were always shown news results.
Now they released an expansion of this first feature making it possible to get realtime information when searching for something on Google and reading it like a storyboard. You can find this function on the left Google sidebar called “Updates” and it looks like this:
It is possible to connect this “Updates” function with Google Alerts so realtime news regarding a desired topic can be send via E-Mail to the recipient. Furthermore the realtime news can be locally customized (e.g. news regarding a specific city or geographic region can be filtered). The source of the Google realtime news are Twitter, Facebook and FriendFeed.
For marketers this new function can reveil interesting customer insights. For example when launching a new product or viral marketing campaign realtime reactions of Internet users can be gained.
As mentioned earlier a while ago I took part in a movie shot as an extra for the company I am working for. The company is called Quisma and I work there as Account Manager Search Marketing since 2009. A few months ago they decided to take part in the Youtube creative brand channel competition.
Therefore they made a little movie intended to hire the next super trainee for the company. Unfortunately the movie is only available in german but sometimes pictures say more than words. So just watch it yourself:
The results of the competition were announced on Saturday and Quisma won the second price; which is a flight to San Francisco and a meeting with the founder of Youtube. Unfortunately there are only three places available, so I won´t be in but it was a great experience to take part in this movie shoot. I hope you enjoy it as I did…especially when watching the outtake scenes.
